Your Right to Data Deletion
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.
This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what to expect during the process.
1. What Data Can Be Deleted
You can request deletion of the following types of personal data:

2. Data We Must Retain
Legal Obligations
In some cases, we are legally required to retain certain information even after a deletion request:
- Financial Records: 6 years (UK tax law requirement)
- Warranty Records: Duration of warranty period plus 1 year
- Legal Claims: Information relevant to ongoing legal matters
- Fraud Prevention: Records needed to prevent fraudulent activity
- Regulatory Compliance: Data required by regulatory authorities
We will only retain the minimum information necessary to fulfill these legal obligations and will delete it as soon as the retention period expires.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
3.1 Email Request
Send your data deletion request to our Data Protection Officer:

3.2 Required Information
To process your request efficiently, please include:
- Full Name: As registered in our systems
- Email Address: Associated with your account or services
- Phone Number: If you provided one previously
- Service Reference: Any booking or repair reference numbers (if applicable)
- Account Details: Username or customer ID (if applicable)
- Scope of Request: Specific data you want deleted or "all personal data"
3.3 Identity Verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletions, we may ask you to verify your identity by:
- Responding from the email address on file
- Providing answers to security questions
- Submitting a copy of government-issued ID (we'll delete this after verification)
- Confirming details of recent interactions or services
4. Processing Timeline
Acknowledgment (Within 48 Hours)
We will confirm receipt of your request and provide a reference number for tracking.
Identity Verification (2-5 Business Days)
We verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and authorized.
Review and Assessment (5-10 Business Days)
We review your data to identify any legal retention requirements and determine the scope of deletion.
Data Deletion (10-20 Business Days)
We delete your data from all active systems, including databases, backups, and third-party services.
Confirmation (Within 30 Days)
We send you confirmation that your data has been deleted, including details of any information retained for legal purposes.
Maximum Processing Time: We will complete your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving all necessary information and verification. In complex cases, we may extend this by an additional 60 days and will notify you if this is necessary.
5. What Happens After Deletion
5.1 Immediate Effects
- Account Access: You will no longer be able to log into your account
- Service History: Your repair and service history will be removed
- Communications: You will be removed from all marketing lists
- Third-Party Services: Your data will be removed from connected services (Facebook, Google, etc.)
5.2 Future Interactions
After your data is deleted:
- You may create a new account if you wish to use our services again
- We will not retain any connection to your previous account or data
- You will need to provide all information as a new customer
- Previous service records and warranties will not be accessible
5.3 Backup Systems
Please note that data may persist in backup systems for up to 12 months after deletion. These backups are not actively accessible and will be permanently deleted during the next backup cycle.
6. Facebook Messenger Data Deletion
Social Media Integration Data
If you interacted with RevivaTech through Facebook Messenger or other social media platforms, we can delete the following data:
- • Your Facebook user ID and profile information we stored
- • Conversation history and messages exchanged through Messenger
- • Booking requests and service inquiries made via social media
- • Preferences and settings related to social media interactions
Important: Deleting your data from RevivaTech's systems does not automatically delete data from Facebook's systems. To completely remove your data:
- Submit a deletion request to RevivaTech using this page

- Manage your app permissions in Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites
7. Your Privacy Rights
